Traditional Services

8:00 am & 10:30 am in the church

Whether you prefer a quiet, contemplative Eucharist (8:00 am) or a traditional church service with a full choir (10:30 am), our church building and the people who attend are sure to make you feel at home!

Contemporary Service

10:30 am in walton hall (Parish Life Building)

Come as you are and worship alongside fellow islanders!  Led by the Praise Band, you will sing the songs you hear on the radio in addition to a Anglican Church in North American (ACNA) Holy Eucharist Service.  Join us this Sunday & see for yourself what we are all about!

Sunday School (Adults)

9:15 am in Walton hall (parish Life building)

We are offering four classes this year (September - May).

  • Adult classes: all adult classes are co-ed

Hospitality – Beth Snyder: What does it mean to be hospitable & how does that help us share in our hope in Jesus with our friends, neighbors & family? Together we will seek to answer this question through the study of scripture, podcasts, experience & more. ***Because Beth’s class is co-educational, Walt has decided to teach Timothy at another time in order to join Beth’s class.

Jeremiah – Tom Prevost: Continuing their study of Jeremiah, this class will focus on deepening our understanding of the book as well as understanding how this text applies to our modern lives.

Prayer – Stephen Haynsworth: How does God feel about pain & suffering? This class will seek to learn more about the healing love & power of the Lord Jesus and to let it be known that Jesus Christ heals.

Young Adults – Sam & Anna Gervais: An opportunity for those who identify as young adults to gather for discussion, study & the sharing of life

Daughters of the Holy Cross (DHC)

Santa anna chapter

The Order of the Daughters of the Holy Cross (DHC) is a spiritual sisterhood of women of all ages dedicated to a life of Prayer, Service and Evangelism. We are lay and ordained women who have made a commitment to Jesus as our Savior, and we follow Him as Lord of our lives. We are women who, in the midst of our daily lives, find community and spiritual support in local chapters of three or more women. Chapters are formed in churches (and church-related institutions) and are under the oversight of their own clergy. A chapter of the Daughters of the Holy Cross is based at St. John's.  Meetings are held the first Saturday of every month at 9:00 am in Walton Hall.  For more information, please contact Lane in the office.

Men's Breakfast
