St. John’s Parish Church is hiring a part-time Church Sexton to help facilitate the custodial, setup/takedown, and general facilities management for a parish in transition. Currently, we operate in four different locations on Johns Island (Resurrection Hall, Haut Gap Middle School, Church Place, and a local storage unit). The weekly time commitment of 10-15 hours will be spread across a few days, with the key tasks of Sunday setup and takedown at Haut Gap Middle School occurring between 6:30am and 12:30pm. Main duties include various setup and takedown for worship at Haut Gap, Resurrection Hall, and Church Place, as well as cleaning the facilities of Resurrection Hall. General handyman abilities needed. Must be able to lift 50+ lbs and be able to work overhead, ability to pull a trailer, and other duties as assigned throughout the Church Year. St. John’s Parish Church is looking for a Youth Ministry Intern to begin before the 2026/27 school year. 5-10 hours per week commitment. Learn from 20+ year youth pastor, Rob Schluter, in planning, discipleship, facilitating, teaching, and more for middle and high school students. Majority of duties will take place on Sunday.
