2024 Anglican Women Gathering
Come to this year’s Anglican Women Gathering and learn how your daily diversions may be pointing to a deeper longing in your soul. Our speaker, Joy Mast, author of Set Free & Satisfied: A Grace-Filled Guide to Stop Overeating and Start Fully Living, will share how her compulsive overeating led to a profound encounter with God, and how you can experience this intimacy as well. You’ll learn how to identify your own patterns of seeking comfort apart from God, why God is the one who offers us true, long-term satisfaction, and how to replace your bad habits with life-giving moments that refresh and sustain your soul. A Prayer for our Parish
Dear Heavenly Father, Together we are united with the saints of the household of God; built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Jesus Christ himself being the cornerstone. In Christ alone our church is being joined together, and is growing into a holy temple of the Lord by the Spirit. By Your wisdom may we discern what You want us to build; Through Jesus Christ our Lord and the power of the Holy Spirit, Amen. |
