Mark your calendars. On August 24, we will return to have Sunday worship at Haut Gap Middle School, and our services will recombine into a single 10AM service.

Thank you to everyone who helped facilitate Sunday worship during the summer while we couldn't use Haut Gap, and thank you to all of our members who faithfully continued to attend every Sunday in a less comfortable environment.

Support the teachers and staff of Haut Gap Middle School by participating in this year's gift card drive to help them purchase supplies for the new school year. Donate $25/$50 gift cards for Amazon or Walmart and secure the receipt to the card when donating. Place them or a check with "Haut Gap" on the memo line in Sunday's offering or drop off in the office by July 27. This year we need thirty-eight $50 gift cards and twenty-two $25 gift cards.

We will give the gift cards to the teachers and staff at a breakfast on their first day back, Monday, August 4, provided by St. John's Parish Church. Please also consider showing your support by helping with the breakfast. We are still in need of a few more servers.

• Make biscuits and gravy
• Provide fresh-cut fruit
• Bake your favorite muffins
• Help set up and serve on August 4

The Lowcountry Pregnancy Center currently has an urgent need for wipes and formula. They're also extremely low on diapers in sizes 4 & 6.

Or visit their Amazon wish list to conveniently order formula, diapers, wipes, and other baby supplies for LPC clients.

Sign up to assist our nursery and Sunday school classes. They're loads of fun and all the materials are prepared for you ahead of time. All you need to do is show up and have fun with the kids.

Did you know that according to Barna Research, 40% of visitors make up their minds about a church before they see the pastor, and within their first two minutes of a service, they have already formed an opinion about whether the congregation is friendly?

Gracious hospitality is the heart of what it means to welcome people. Whether serving as a greeter who smiles and says good morning at the door, an usher who escorts a visitor to the right place, or a server of coffee and pastries, our first interactions will show people that the world is a more hospitable place because of Jesus.
