Operation Christmas Child Shoeboxes Available

Shoeboxes are available for parishioners to pick up before and after our worship service on Sunday as well as at Resurrection Hall during the week.  Operation Christmas Child, a wonderful global outreach opportunity through Samaritan’s Purse, allows parishioners to fill a shoebox with items such as toiletries, school supplies, small toys and a “wow item” (suggestions include a stuffed animal, doll or deflated soccer ball & pump).  These boxes are shipped around the world to children who have never received a box before.  The gospel message is shared with the children, and they are invited to learn more about Jesus through a program called the Greatest Journey.   This is a wonderful ministry for families to be involved in together!  Please consider packing a shoebox (or more)  this year to be returned by Sunday, November 12.
