World Mission Fundraiser

After the traumatizing effects of a 20 year civil war that led to the displacement of 1.7 million people, the Anglican Diocese of Northern Uganda faces the challenge of healing and rebuilding their community. Because women with few resources tend to shoulder the heavy burden of caring for their families, our mission partners in Gulu seek to provide opportunities for women to receive Christ-centered healing from trauma, learn basic life skills, discover the means to make a living through vocational training, and grow as entrepreneurs in community through regional conferences. St. John's Parish Church is raising funds to support these initiatives. It has often been said that when you invest in women you change a nation.
