Summer Morning Community Group for Women

Summer Morning Community Group for Women

This summer, we invite you to be refreshed by sitting at the feet of Jesus.

A new community group for Drawing Near To God Ministry starts at St. John’s Parish Church’s Resurrection Hall on Wednesday, May 29th from 10:00 to 11:30.  Janet Jenkins will lead a summerlong study on Joanne Ellison's, "Sitting at His Feet".

Join in fellowship with other women across the islands, and delve into what God taught Joanne following a traumatic event and the emotions that came with it. Joanne will also join this group in person on July 17 to speak on Forgiveness and Repentence.

If interested, please register at Abiding Space Groups: Spring/Summer - Drawing Near to God. Be sure to select Abiding Space--Island Group led by Janet Jenkins. Books are available for $10 on Amazon or through the Drawing Near To God website Ministry - Drawing Near to God. When you register, you will receive an email from Drawing Near To God. All women welcome.

For more information, contact Janet Jenkins at j.g.jenkins@bellsouth or call 843-224-8236.

Do You Have a Story to Tell?

Do You Have a Story to Tell?

St. John's Parish Church is working on a new publication to share how the Lord is moving in our parish. Have you been moved by how the Lord is working in your life? Have you participated in a ministry or event and seen His presence? Consider sharing your testimony so others may see the Lord's glory.

Please submit your story to Timothy as a Word compatible document without exceeding 1000 words. If you are not comfortable writing, please still contact Timothy. We will work with you.

A Prayer for our Parish

Dear Heavenly Father,

Together we are united with the saints of the household of God; built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Jesus Christ himself being the cornerstone. In Christ alone our church is being joined together, and is growing into a holy temple of the Lord by the Spirit. By Your wisdom may we discern what You want us to build; Through Jesus Christ our Lord and the power of the Holy Spirit,

Amen.
