Lay Eucharistic Ministers
Life doesn't always allow us to take part in the Holy Eucharist in a church setting. Because of this, Bishop Edgar and Fr Jeremy authorized the Lay Eucharistic Ministers to take the Eucharist to those who are physically unable to attend a regular church service. This is a blessed ministry. The Lay Eucharistic Ministers experience the Lord’s presence in a special way as He uses us to minister to those who we have missed in our congregation. He allows us to share his presence with those who need to know that He hasn’t forgotten them, and St John's Parish Church still considers them to be an important part of our family. |

A Prayer for our Parish
Dear Heavenly Father, Together we are united with the saints of the household of God; built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Jesus Christ himself being the cornerstone. In Christ alone our church is being joined together, and is growing into a holy temple of the Lord by the Spirit. By Your wisdom may we discern what You want us to build; Through Jesus Christ our Lord and the power of the Holy Spirit, Amen. |
