Easter Collection for Detention Center Youth

Forty-three Jesus Easter bags were delivered to the Juvenile Detention yesterday along with soccer balls, basketballs and a new basketball net. To God be the glory, and thank you to our generous parishioners. Major Harris and Captain Driskell met us at the car to receive the goods and, as always, were so grateful. They even recorded a video to express their gratitude. Click the link below to view it.

Global Mission

Global Mission

Jesus said, "All authority in Heaven and earth has been given to me, therefore, go and make disciples of all nations..." (Matt. 28:18-19). Whenever we obey God's call to be disciples, who make disciples, we experience the blessing of witnessing first-hand how the gospel makes a real difference in the world.

St. John's Parish Church has relationships with both the Anglican Diocese of Northern Uganda and the Anglican Diocese of Lima, Peru. Last year, we sent teams to visit both, and throughout the year, we send funds to support their various needs and ministries. For more information, talk to Ann Edenfield or any member of our Global Mission team.

A Prayer for our Parish

Dear Heavenly Father,

Together we are united with the saints of the household of God; built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Jesus Christ himself being the cornerstone. In Christ alone our church is being joined together, and is growing into a holy temple of the Lord by the Spirit. By Your wisdom may we discern what You want us to build; Through Jesus Christ our Lord and the power of the Holy Spirit,

Amen.
