This Sunday, January 28, 2024 service will begin at 9AM and will be followed by our Annual Meeting. We have five positions to elect for vestry this year. We also need to elect four delegates for the 2024 Diocesan Convention.

Join us for a special presentation during our Sunday service from the teams who recently went to Uganda and Peru. Before and after the service, the members of both teams will have tables set up in the Connections Corridor. This is a great opportunity to personally talk to them about their trips and learn how you can engage in global mission.

Fr. Jeremy just began a Sunday morning class on the use of the 2019 Book of Common Prayer. The class begins at 9am in the Atrium of Haut Gap Middle School and finishes by 9:45am  now until February 11 (They will not meet January 28th due to the annual meeting).

Their focus will be on the history, daily use, Sunday use, and foundational functions of the 2019 Book of Common Prayer.  Copies of the BCP will be provided or you can bring your own if you have one. 

Each semester, St John's Parish Church has the honor of providing a dinner for The Citadel Cadets at St Alban's Chapel. This is part of our domestic missionary outreach.

We are looking for volunteers to help provide food and for servers on February 5. Click the link below for more infomation and to sign up.

The Haut Gap family who lost their home in a fire found an apartment and will move in soon. Please consider donating gently used or new household items. As they are starting from scratch, they are most grateful for anything.

2nd Saturday Workday

We meet every 2nd Saturday of the month at 8am at the Migrant Camp (it’s right past Creative Beginnings School 3634 Mary Ann Point Rd (State Rd S-10-1333) ) behind the long building.

We have breakfast and fellowship at 8am, then from 9-12am, we work on decks, wheelchair ramps or minor home repairs.

You don’t need to bring any tools but if you have a favorite hammer and cordless drill that will be fine.
