To support the Haut Gap Teachers and Support Staff this school year, we are holding a gift card drive. Please consider donating a $25/$50 gift card or the funds to purchase them by August 6th to be given to the teachers and staff at the Teacher's Breakfest on the 7th. 

For all donated gift cards, please save the receipt and secure it to the card when donating.

The Sosnowski Scholarship is a need-based scholarship awarded to a rising college freshman or current college student who is/has been actively involved in the life of St. John’s Parish Church. The Scholarship Committee welcomes applications through August 20.

Summer is almost over, and we're getting ready for the fall study of Nehemiah by Joanne Ellison. “The Islands Group” will be starting on Wednesday, September 11th, at 10:00AM to 11:30AM. Registration is open, and it's not too early to get signed up. If you’re looking for women to come alongside you as you walk through life’s complexities, register now.

We would like to recognize one of our long-time parishioners, Sherry Fox. 

Sherry has blessed St John's over the years by heading up and coordinating receptions, luncheons and many other events. In addition to overseeing activities on site at the event, she also handles many administrative needs such as coordinating volunteers and keeping stock of supplies. When she isn't busy volunteering for St John's, she has also been known to volunteer at the aquarium. Next time you see her, be sure to ask her about the sea turtles. St John's is extremely grateful for all Sherry does and her ministry to the Lord.

Daughters of the Holy Cross

The Order of The Daughters of the Holy Cross is composed of women who have committed their lives to the work and service of our Lord Jesus Christ. We pray daily for our church, it’s clergy, the Order and others in need. With the guidance of the Holy Spirit, we reach out to those who do not know Jesus and share His message of salvation through word and deed. We equip ourselves with the powerful sword of truth as contained in the Holy Bible. We wear our cross as a symbol of Jesus’ sacrifice and our need for Him to be in our daily lives, and we become encouraged and strengthened in community with our sisters.
