This Pentecost, worship will be offsite at the Puckette Residences overlooking the river. We will celebrate three baptisms during our service, and immediately following, we will take a parish photo, then have a parish picnic. Don't miss this blessed day.

Did you know research shows that when teachers feel supported, student performance increases? Therefore, we're offering one last chance to bless Haut Gap teachers and students before school gets out. Our partnering teachers use a school store supplied with fun goodies as an incentive to encourage students for good behavior and growth throughout the year. Please bring some of these fun items for the Student Rewards Store to Resurrection Hall by Tuesday, May 13.

The Sosnowski Scholarship scholarship is awarded to a rising college freshman or current college student who is/has been actively involved in the life of St. John’s Parish Church. The Scholarship Committee welcomes applications through June 30.

Join with others from all around the ADOSC on Friday, June 13 for the annual Anglican Diocese of South Carolina’s Night at the RiverDogs. The game begins at 7:05 pm.

A block of seats in the upper deck along the first base line has been reserved. Each ticket is $13.00 (for adults or children), and you can pre-purchase your parking pass for $5.00 (in the lot it’s $10.) The deadline for purchasing tickets is Friday, May 16th. Deacon Joyce Harder will send tickets and parking passes via e-mail beginning the week of May 26th.

Sign up to assist our nursery and Sunday school classes. They're loads of fun and all the materials are prepared for you ahead of time. All you need to do is show up and have fun with the kids.

Ushers serve an important role in the life of St. John’s Parish Church on Sundays and other special services. They greet everyone as they enter, hand out prayer lists and other papers as needed. They also assist newcomers to find their way - whether to find a place to sit, locate the nursery or find the restroom. Ushers also help to collect the offering and present it at the altar. When it is time to receive communion, they help the congregation know when it is the proper time to come forward. If you would like to find out more about being an usher, please contact Sally Dixon.
