We just started an additional Sunday school class to better facilitate the needs of our children. In order to be successful, we need your help. It's fun, easy and fulfilling. Agnes provides everything - the lesson and the supplies. Please consider volunteering.

Join this new Community Group Sundays after church for a Study on Colossians: Finding Fulfillment in Christ. They will meet 1:00PM - 2:00PM at the Moore's House from September 22 through October 27. For more information, contact Lori.

Each semester, St John's Parish Church provides a dinner meal for The Citadel Cadets at St Alban's Chapel. This is part of our domestic mission outreach.

We are looking for volunteers to help provide dinner and minister to these cadets. Click the link below to see how you can help and to sign up.

Men: as part of our Parish Men’s Ministry, we will get together on Saturday, September 14, for food, fellowship and football.

• Gather at Resurrection Hall for lunch at 12:30, September 14.
• Stop by for a few minutes of fellowship or an afternoon of football.
• Help prepare sides for the dinner at St Alban’s on Monday.

September 29, we are offering a First Communion class for children 7 years and older who have not yet taken a First Communion class. Lunch will be provided. It is requested that at least one parent attend with their child.

The 2025 Christian Men’s Conference will be held at Lutheridge Camp & Conference Center, a 160-acre wooded retreat center in Arden, NC. Prayer Ministry

St John’s Parish Church has had a foundation in prayer since it was founded. The families who formed this church had strong connections and were always ready to pray when the need arose.

The spiritual battle continues today. Every Tuesday at 1:15PM, a small group meets to address any prayer needs of the parish and to pray where the Holy Spirit leads. Teams are also available for home visits.

Every Sunday we also have prayer teams available during Holy Eucharist. These teams join with anyone in lifting their needs to the Lord. There are two teams on either side of the cafeteria and one team in the hall for more privacy. A curtain is also available in the hall for the same reason. If you are interested in joining the prayer team, ask any prayer team member or email Lindy.
