It's not too late to turn in your 2025 pledge cards if you missed the deadline. Put your filled out pledge cards in the offering plate this Sunday or drop them off at Resurrection Hall during the week. If you did not receive one, click here for a PDF. 

A friendly reminder, checks should be made out to "St John's Parish Church". Please ensure you fill out your checks correctly so that your offering may be used for the continued stewardship of our church.

Please keep our Peru Team in your prayers. They fly out tomorrow, November 22, at 8PM and return on November 28. Their trip will include visits to the Diocesan House for a meeting with Bishop Jorge, celebration with Peruvian youth at the Cathedral of the Good Shepherd in Lima, worship with our friends at Sagrada Familia Church in Villa Maria, and fellowship with San Mateo Anglican School in San Juan de Lurigancho. Through interactions with people of another culture and language, we pray God will expand our appreciation of how His gospel crosses every barrier to make us one in Christ Jesus. Further, as we reconnect with leaders and friends, we seek to discern vision and opportunities moving forward.

The 17th Annual Feeding of the Multitude will take place this year at Berkeley Electric Cooperative, 1135 Main Rd., Johns Island. Over 25 churches come together each year to serve people who have financial challenges. Our goal is that every family on Johns and Wadmalaw Islands will have a Thanksgiving meal, and each person will feel the love and joy of Jesus Christ.

80 Shoeboxes Packed from St. John’s Parish Church!

Thanks to everyone who packed a shoebox for Operation Christmas Child. St. John’s Parish Church turned in 80 packed boxes. Although you no longer have the box in your possession, your job is not over yet. Please continue to lift up the recipient of your shoebox and his/her family throughout the year. Pray that your recipient learns who Jesus is and accepts His gift of grace and love. If you registered a number from your box packing label, check back in late December/early January to see what country your box is heading to in 2025.

Please note the parish office will be closed on November 28 in observance of Thanksgiving. Regular office hours resume Monday, December 2.

Come join us at Resurrection Hall for an Evening with St Nicholas and Advent wreath making. This is an activity for all ages and a great opportunity for fellowship and fun.

The owners of Hart Meadows Ranch have generously offered a space for us to worship on Christmas Eve this year. Mark your calendars for a truly blessed evening at a beautiful location. Service starts at 4pm, December 24.

Our children need your help. Sign up to assist our nursery and Sunday school classes. They're lots of fun and all the materials are prepared for you ahead of time. All you need to do is show up and have fun with the kids.

Registration for the New Wineskins Conference is now open. The Global Mission Committee wants to see every parishioner engaged and equipped for God's mission and is offering scholarships toward the conference. Gracious hospitality is the heart of what it means to welcome people, so whether serving as a greeter who smiles and says good morning at the door, an usher who escorts a visitor to the right place, or a server of coffee and pastries, our first interactions will show people that the world is a more hospitable place because of Jesus.

Dear Heavenly Father,

Together we are united with the saints of the household of God; built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Jesus Christ himself being the cornerstone. In Christ alone our church is being joined together, and is growing into a holy temple of the Lord by the Spirit. By Your wisdom may we discern what You want us to build; Through Jesus Christ our Lord and the power of the Holy Spirit,
