Lori and Townsend arrived safely in Uganda and have shared a few highlights from their trip so far. On Sunday, Townsend led daily devotions at St. Francis Chapel, the group had dinner with Archbishop Stephen Kaziimba at his home, and they took a bus ride with thirteen Americans and twenty-five Ugandans, which was "awesome!" Please continue to pray that the Lord will continue to bless them and keep them safe.

They have been hard at work clearing out for a road to be put in on our new property. Please continue to pray for Church Place as development continues, and make sure not to get too distracted from driving next time you're passing on Main Rd. 

Support the teachers and staff of Haut Gap Middle School by participating in this year's gift card drive to help them purchase supplies for the new school year. Donate $25/$50 gift cards for Amazon or Walmart and secure the receipt to the card when donating. Place them or a check with "Haut Gap" on the memo line in Sunday's offering or drop off in the office by July 27. This year we need thirty-eight $50 gift cards and twenty-two $25 gift cards.

We will give the gift cards to the teachers and staff at a breakfast on their first day back, Monday, August 4, provided by St. John's Parish Church. Please also consider showing your support by helping with the breakfast.

• Provide fresh-cut fruit
• Bake your favorite muffins
• Help set up and serve on August 4

ARDF is working with the North American Lutheran Church to help identify needs and coordinate response efforts early in the coming week, including the delivery of flood relief supplies from ACNA churches in the area with Disaster Response Warehouses.

The Daughters of the Holy Cross are some of our most fervent prayer warriors. Did you know they have a prayer box available for anyone to put prayer requests in? They pray for the requests put in this prayer box, regardless of how major or minor. This Sunday, feel free to drop a prayer request in the prayer box in the chapel. All requests are kept confidential.

We recently found this cup left behind after worship on Sunday. Is it yours? If so, please pick it up on Sunday or from the office during the week.

Sign up to assist our nursery and Sunday school classes. They're loads of fun and all the materials are prepared for you ahead of time. All you need to do is show up and have fun with the kids.

St John’s Parish Church has had a foundation in prayer since it was founded. Every Tuesday at 1:15PM, a small group meets to address any prayer needs of the parish and to pray where the Holy Spirit leads. Teams are also available for home visits.

Every Sunday, we also have prayer teams available during Holy Eucharist. These teams join with anyone in lifting their needs to the Lord. If you are interested in joining the prayer team, ask any prayer team member or email Lindy Reynolds.
