Dear St. John’s Parish Church Family,

I hope you’re doing well. I’m writing to share something deeply important to me and to invite you to partner with me in prayer and support as I prepare for a mission trip to Uganda from February 10th to March 19th, 2026...

We are looking to hire someone to work in the nursery on Sunday mornings. This is a paid part-time position with at least three hours each week. Contact Sally Dixon for more information.

Join us on February 17 for Shrove Tuesday. We will have a fun night of Pancakes and Bingo in Resurrection Hall starting at 6PM with prizes for the whole family.

Join us on Ash Wednesday, February 18, at noon for our contemplative service or at 7PM for our service with music. Both services will be held in Resurrection Hall.

Camp Jubilee invites you to join us Saturday, March 7, to celebrate “The Day of Jubilee” on our new camp property in Beaufort. We will gather for Eucharist, Camp games, property tours, live music, and a fine meal.  Everyone is asked to bring a chair and a side dish or a dessert to share. We also ask you to please carpool as parking is limited.  Festivities begin at 1:00 pm.

Recently, I asked Bishop Edgar, Fr. Arthur Jenkins, Fr. John Sosnowski, and Fr. Marc Boutan for some additional help especially on Sunday mornings — of which I am pleased to say all have been willing to provide assistance as I continue in this unknown time of neurological health problems.

We are off to a great start this new year!  Our children, from Pre-K though 5th grade, are learning about Jesus in His younger years and deepening their understanding of who He is and how much He loves us.  Over the past few weeks, lessons have included the visit of the Wise Men, Jesus teaching in the temple as a young boy and Jesus’ baptism by His cousin, John the Baptist.  This coming week, the children will learn about Jesus calling His disciples to be his helpers.  We will learn how they listened and obeyed when Jesus called them saying, “Come, follow me” --Matthew 4:19.   We are grateful for our teachers and volunteers who deliver His message to our children every Sunday morning and for the continued support of our parish families.

On the 3rd Sunday of every month, all grandparents are invited to gather at Resurrection Hall, for an hour, from 12-1PM to lift up our Grandchildren in prayer. Fr. John Sosnowski and his wife Patti  introduce this time and occasionally introduce books and other tools to help us pass on the legacy of our faith to our children's children. We also share prayer needs, concerning our grands, but the majority of the time is devoted to prayer. For more information, contact John or Patti Sosnowski.

In Christ alone our church is being joined together, and is growing into a holy temple of the Lord by the Spirit. By Your wisdom may we discern what You want us to build; Through Jesus Christ our Lord and the power of the Holy Spirit,
