We are grateful and excited to have this offsite worship at the home of the Sosnowskis who have once again offered the space to make up for being rained out last year. This will be an outdoor service, so please bring a chair and dress appropriately. Sunglasses and hats are welcome. Transport from parking to the service area will be avaiable. We will not have nursery or children’s Sunday school. And pray for good weather!

We invite you to notify the church office if you or a family member are graduating from high school or college this year so we can recognize and celebrate your achievement.

Over the last two weeks a small search committee of Fr. Jeremy, Lynn Gervais, Rob Schluter, Heath Gunther, and Nathan Gilkeson have been reading resumes and conducting interviews via Zoom. We have three very qualified and capable candidates. The prayer now is that the Lord makes clear His calling upon one of them. We are hopeful and expectant to announce a new Associate Rector within the next two weeks.

Grandparents, don't forget, G@P meets at noon after worship this Sunday, May 17, in Resurrection Hall. All grandparents are encouraged to join us for light refreshments, lively conversation, and prayers for grandchildren. Contact Patti or John Sosnowski for more information.

We had a delightful time of fellowship and fun at Super Seniors Bingo this year. Thank you to everyone who helped facilitate the event and to everyone who came out and participated.

The annual Anglican Diocese of South Carolina's Night at the RiverDogs will take place this year on Friday, June 5th. The game begins at 7:05 pm. Join us for an evening of fun, hot dogs, cheering, and laughter. We’ll also enjoy a lighthearted competition to see which church brings the largest group. Don’t forget to wear red or white to show you’re part of the ADOSC family!

We will wrap up the Sunday School year by revisiting some of our favorite Bible stories — from the parable of the Prodigal Son to Zacchaeus.  We will meet Jesus in each of these stories and learn that Jesus loves us very much! 

Blessing Baskets distributes about 400 government boxes of food staples to people on the sea islands which come prepackaged with addresses. In addition to those boxes, Blessing Baskets packs perishable foods in bags to supplement the boxes and to give to people not eligible for government assistance. This is where we need help. Packing these bags is a huge undertaking from gathering, sorting, and packing the food into bags and its distribution. For more information please contact Walt Miller or Heath Gunther.

Dear Heavenly Father,

Together we are united with the saints of the household of God; built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Jesus Christ himself being the cornerstone. In Christ alone our church is being joined together, and is growing into a holy temple of the Lord by the Spirit. By Your wisdom may we discern what You want us to build; Through Jesus Christ our Lord and the power of the Holy Spirit,
