Teacher Appreciation Week is May 4-8.  We are gathering cards for the teachers and all staff at Haut Gap to let them know how much they are appreciated for all they do for the kids.  Please consider writing a card letting them know you are thinking of them.  Do not seal them, as we are going to put in a note letting them know we have people available to pray for them or someone they know needing prayer.  Turn in all cards to the office by Tuesday, April 28.  Robin LaRoche will be in the Connection Corridor with a limited supply of cards for you to stop before church and pick up or you can get your own.  Thank you for helping St. John's Parish Church let the teachers and staff know how much we appreciate what they do.  Questions, please call Sally Dixon.

It’s time again to honor our Super Seniors (80’s +) with lunch and enjoy some bingo with our bingo master, Rob Schluter, in Resurrection Hall on Friday, May 1st from 11:00 am.-1:30 p.m. Please RSVP by April 25th to Sherry Fox, 843-729-1202. The Gentlemen Songsters, a Sea Island a cappella Group who previously performed for us at Resurrection Hall, have invited the members of our congregation to a free concert at 5PM on April 24th, at Church of Our Saviour: 4416 Betsy Kerrison Pkwy Johns Island, SC. 

Grandparents, don't forget, G@P meets at noon this Sunday after service in Resurrection Hall. All grandparents are encouraged to join us for light refreshments, lively conversation, and prayers for grandchildren. Contact Patti or John Sosnowski for more information.

The men just started a new study on Thursdays at 7:30 PM in Resurrection Hall. Join us as we begin to dive into Brother Lawrence’s classic book, The Practice of the Presence of God. We’ll be discussing how to actually find God in the middle of our daily grind and busy schedules. It’s a low-pressure way to connect and grow together—hope to see you there! The Girls' Morning Out Bible Study (GMOBS) just kicked back off. Join us on Tuesdays, 9:00-10:30AM in the library at Resurrection Hall. We will read and discuss the Psalms and spend time in conversation and prayer. All welcome to join us.

Alleluia! Jesus is Risen! Our Sunday School lessons will continue as we follow the life of Jesus after His resurrection. We will explore His time on earth before His ascension and the gift of the Holy Spirit. Thank you to all of our parents and family memebers for your faithfulness to bring your children to Sunday School. It is a pleasure to share God’s word with these future leaders of our parish.

St. John’s Parish Church is blessed by Chris' ministry in music, but also by his servant’s heart. He gives with such joy and it shows. Thank you Chris for  your dedication to weekly worship set up, your technical gifts and the talent you bring. You are a blessing in ministry to St. Johns Parish Church.

The Prayer Shawl Ministry provides hand-crafted shawls to give comfort and warmth to those experiencing illness, sorrow, need, or distress.  We also provide blankets to celebrate the newly baptized. Makers pray as they create the shawls and blankets which are then blessed by our clergy.
