Join us this Sunday, October 5 at 5PM, for a liturgy of the Blessing of the Animals at Resurrection Hall. We will have treats for pets and humans alike. This is a great opportunity for fellowship for the whole family.

Mark your calendars. The Feeding of the Multitude this year will be November 22, noon - 3PM at Berkeley Electric. We will be collecting bags of groceries again and will need volunteers to help on the 22nd. More info to come.

There are many exciting things taking place in the life of St. John’s Parish Church right now — the development of Church Place, our new future permanent home, and the Higher Ground capital fundraising campaign kicking off later this fall.

It is my [Fr. Jeremy] pleasure to reveal to you another exciting time in our life — our new parish logo. This logo was developed with prayer, reflection, history, identity, and future all in mind.

We are excited to begin a brand-new Sunday School season with a curriculum lovingly crafted by the St. John's Parish Church Children’s Ministry Team. Drawing from both Ms. Pam’s lessons and God’s Big Story curriculum, our teachings will guide children through the major themes of the Bible in a way that is engaging and age-appropriate. In the weeks ahead, children will explore God’s Word through the stories of Noah, Joseph, and Abraham, discovering timeless truths along the way.

All children ages 0 through 5th grade are warmly invited to join us each Sunday during the service from 10–11 AM. If you’d like to volunteer or help introduce a new child to our program, please reach out to us at childrensministry@stjohnsparish.net.

Holy Eucharist is an important sacrament in our lives as Christians. We believe Jesus is present during this service. We all want to be in the presence of our Lord, but life doesn't always allow us to take part in the Holy Eucharist in a church setting. Because this is the case, Bishop Edgar and Father Jeremy authorized the Lay Eucharistic Ministers to take the Eucharist to those who are physically unable to attend a regular church service.

This is a blessed ministry. The Lay Eucharistic Ministers are able to experience the Lord’s presence in a special way as He reaches out through us to touch and minister to those who we have missed in our congregation. He allows us to share his presence and be with those who need to know that He hasn’t forgotten them, and St John's Parish Church still considers them to be an important part of our family.
